Estero, Florida - is one of the newer areas in southwest Florida.  Estero is actually a part of the unicorporated areas of Lee County Florida.

During the past several years Estero has seen much growth and communities develop around it.

Florida Gulf Coast University’s main campus is located here and is conveniently located off of east Interstate 75, exits 123 or 128.  The university is an active participant in the community and offering many courses for both current students seeking a degree, as well as, outreach programs for continuing education.

Prior to Florida Gulf Coast University, the neighborhood of Wild Cat Run was developed which is an Arnold Palmer golf course community.

Two other major draw cards to the area were constructed - Germain Arena (formerly the Teco Arena) and the Miromar Outlet Mall.

Today, one can find many fine communities and neighborhoods in the Estero Florida real estate market.
